| AGP39 is the third of
three installments devoted to electronic and electro-acoustic music
from six different European countries. This one features productions of
electronic music studios in Utrecht and Freiburg, created between 1965
and the late 1970s. Included are four excerpts from an Einführung in die Elektronische Klangumformung by Hans Peter Haller that covers two sides of an LP. The first excerpt from each side is a concatenation of a series of shorter examples of electronic sounds. The second excerpt from each side is a more extended composition, applying the techniques discussed in the Einführung. The first of these compositions features the trumpet playing of Manfred Schoof. The excerpts include all electronic sounds in the Einführung, but should German-speaking AGP partisans wish to hear the entire thing, the two sides in their entirety are also available: Haller Einführung Side 1 Haller Einführung Side 2 To download
