AGP38 is the second of three installments devoted to electronic and electro-acoustic music from six different European countries. This one surveys productions of electronic music studios in France, Poland, Slovakia, and Italy, created between 1962 and 1969. All but the last track in this installment were transcribed from American LPs with low levels of pressing and surface noise. Malec's Dahovi is included even though it also appeared in AGP13, to permit comparison of this LP transcription with the other. The torrent includes a text file containing liner notes from the three LPs from which these works were transcribed.

Compositions by Pierre Schaeffer and Luc Ferrari on one of the three LPs were not included because they are currently available on CD. Objets liés is from Schaeffer's seminal Etude aux objets, which is included in a 3CD retrospective of Schaeffer's works that can be obtained from electrocd.com. Ferrari's Tête et queue du dragon is also available (in a CD of Ferrari's early electronic works) from electrocd.com. While I'm advertising that site, allow me to recommend a magnificent 5CD retrospective of GRM compositions that they carry for the absurdly low price of 50 CA$, including shipping.
